Although already the highest output LEDs we've seen, The DGA Power LED system has significantly broken new ground.

Warm white 1W LEDs are now rated at 45 lumens
Cool white 1W LEDs now give 65 lumens

This has implications when considering Part L of the Building Regulations for new dwellings. These are the first LEDs in warm white that we've seen that may be used to reach the required quota.

Of course, good lighting design and efficient lighting is more than just hitting the numbers, it's also about the correct use of light and balance of light, but the improved performance gives us scope to achieve two goals whilst still using beautiful products.
